JOB SUMMARY
ClassPass' MarTech team is looking for an AEO Program Manager to own what large language models and search engines say about ClassPass. When someone asks Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Google what ClassPass is, how it works or whether it's worth it, the answer shapes how people discover and choose us. This role makes sure those answers are accurate and on brand.
This is a new role on the cutting edge of search and will help write ClassPass’s AI search playbook. You will set the strategy, build the systems to execute it and drive the work across teams. You will use AI to improve how we create content, lead our off-site AEO/GEO strategy, and bring a testing mindset to a channel where attribution is murky.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of experience in content strategy, SEO, AEO or a related search and content discipline
- Hands-on AEO/GEO experience, or deep familiarity with how large language models are trained, how they work and how the industry operates
- Experience with enterprise sized sites with millions of pages
- Strong data fluency and a testing mindset, with experience measuring performance and attribution in AEO or a similarly ambiguous channel
- Excellent program and project management skills, including defining scope, managing timelines and keeping cross-functional work moving
- Proven experience developing strategy and getting stakeholder buy-in on resourcing the initiative
- Strong systems thinking, with the ability to connect the dots across teams and stand up new internal processes for net-new workstreams
- Nice to have: technical SEO experience and programmatic SEO experience
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and run the AEO strategy, including reporting and execution, to ensure LLMs and search engines describe ClassPass accurately and use approved positioning
- Monitor how AI platforms and search engines talk about ClassPass, flag inaccuracies and drive fixes
- Build reporting that ties AEO work to business outcomes, even where attribution is unclear
- Own the content strategy, calendar and execution for consumer and partner audiences, building scalable systems to produce content and continually improving the process to support new content types
- Own app store optimization strategy, reporting and execution
- Drive the off-site and organic social AI strategy, partnering with internal teams for execution
- Lead go-to-market strategy and execution for business initiatives
- Build new internal processes for net-new workstreams as needed, and coordinate across all internal teams
