About The Team: 

We are looking for a new IT Engineer III to join our team! You are a seasoned ServiceNow (SNOW) developer/engineer comfortable with advanced configuration, scripting, and integrations across the ServiceNow platform. You will focus your time on contributing your expertise in scaling our ServiceNow instance across the organization, and creating runbooks for how we handle platform upgrades, new module rollouts, and future acquisitions. 

The IT Engineering team is responsible for the configuration and maintenance of Playlist enterprise-wide software systems such as email, collaboration tools, office networks, identity & authentication, and so on. This team focuses on continual improvement and efficiency through IT automation practices and partners with the business to resolve configuration or workflow pain points. This position will report to the manager of Enterprise Security and Engineering. 

The Role You’ll Play 

  • Developing, documenting and recommending plans for improvements in our ServiceNow platform, including ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB modules 
  • Building and configuring workflows, forms, business rules, and automations, and developing portals, scripts, and custom UIs to extend platform capabilities and improve the user experience 
  • Ensure our ServiceNow instance adheres to our defined security baselines and governance standards, and implement continued improvement practices such as customizations, upgrades, patching, and scoped application hygiene 
  • Drive requirements gathering through execution, including work breakdowns and task tracking, assist with regular stakeholder communication and cross-functional coordination to keep projects on schedule and address roadblocks as they arise 
  • Serve as primary point of contact for ServiceNow vendor management, leading vendor calls and driving resolution of support tickets with ServiceNow 

Experience You Bring 

  • Senior-level ServiceNow engineering expertise, with demonstrated ownership of platform architecture, integrations, administration, and workflow design within complex or high-growth organizations.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing automations across cloud-based SaaS technologies.
  • Advanced hands-on experience developing and administering the ServiceNow platform, including Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Automated Test Framework, ACLs, Scripted REST APIs, and related capabilities.
  • Advanced knowledge in the following technologies: 
  • Cloud Management experience, especially Azure and AWS 
  • ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and Service Portal / Now Experience configuration 
  • ServiceNow Integration Hub, REST/SOAP web services, and Glide APIs for third-party integrations 
  • Identity management, Single Sign-On 
  • Strong sense of personal time management, task management, and documentation 
  • Experience owning and driving technical efforts, providing technical guidance, and mentorship to junior teammates 
  • Experience in developing, contributing, and executing on short and long-term roadmaps 
  • Expertise working with APIs to integrate systems 
  • SNOW Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification required; SNOW Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification(s) strongly preferred 
  • Familiarity with common Information Security and Information Technology frameworks, standards, compliance, and regulations (including but not limited to: ITIL, COBIT, NIST, ISO, CIS 20, PCI, GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, HITRUST) 
  • Knowledge of ISO27001/27002, PII, PHI, financial data regulations, data residency requirements, and international regulatory aspects pertaining to sensitive information 
  • Excellent oral and written communication and documentation skills, including capability of presenting technical information to non-technical audiences
