About the Role

As an Account Manager, you will be the face of ClassPass to our fitness and wellness partners, managing a high-revenue book of business and helping studios across your market succeed.

You will work directly with studio owners and managers to ensure they receive incredible value from their partnership with ClassPass. Your responsibilities will range from prospecting new partners and identifying growth opportunities to upselling products and strengthening relationships across your existing client base.

You will confidently communicate the ClassPass value proposition, explain the benefits of our tools, and troubleshoot partner issues. You will also act as an internal advocate for our partners by escalating bugs, communicating local market nuances, and sharing partner feedback and feature requests through the appropriate channels.

About You

You know how to manage client relationships, interpret performance metrics, and develop creative solutions to address partner concerns. You are comfortable working with numbers and excited to use data, market trends, and your knowledge of the boutique fitness and wellness industry to make actionable recommendations.

You are commercially minded, highly organised, and passionate about helping partners grow their businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert on the boutique fitness and wellness industry in your ClassPass markets, including the competitive landscape.
  • Drive revenue and reservation growth across your portfolio and the wider market.
  • Maintain a strong focus on market-wide partner retention, working toward quarterly targets.
  • Monitor supply health and identify growth opportunities across your markets, with a particular focus on inventory availability.
  • Act as the local voice of the partner, escalating market-specific feedback and nuances to the country leadership team.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with a diverse portfolio of partners, ranging from lower-tier accounts to top-performing businesses.
  • Help partners grow their businesses through data-led insights, recommendations, and ongoing support.
  • Drive adoption of new ClassPass products while supporting the retention of existing products among studio partners.
  • Use online and offline resources to develop and maintain your own pipeline in Salesforce.
  • Deliver outstanding service to ClassPass fitness and wellness partners.
  • Engage with key studio partners through monthly check-ins, phone calls, and in-person meetings, with more frequent contact where required.
  • Retain partners by providing best-in-class support and relationship management.
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews and prepare detailed performance reports to share with studio partners.
  • Contribute to country-specific projects across the partner base.
  • Help resolve transactional issues and complete ad hoc projects as required.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in account management, with the ability to resolve a wide range of issues creatively and effectively.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with experience managing and developing both existing and prospective accounts across different business tiers.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to implement tactical project plans that align with team priorities and business goals.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt your communication style to different audiences and situations.
  • Experience collaborating across teams, generating stakeholder buy-in, and maximising the impact of shared initiatives.
  • A collaborative approach and a willingness to share knowledge, skills, frameworks, and new ways of solving problems with colleagues.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to clearly articulate the value and wider business impact of your work.
  • A proven track record of managing competing processes and priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Confidence working with data, performance metrics, and market trends to develop actionable recommendations.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
  • The right to work in Germany.
