The Role You'll Play

Playlist is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Sales Compensation Analyst to support the operational execution of sales commission processing across a growing and increasingly complex sales organization. In this role, you’ll help ensure commissions are calculated accurately, processed on time, and delivered to Payroll with strong controls and clear documentation. You’ll work hands-on in Xactly Incent, supporting recurring commission calculations, validating outputs, troubleshooting routine data and plan issues, and managing manual commission inputs such as quotas, adjustments, and one-off payments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured, deadline-driven work, has strong analytical skills, and takes pride in accuracy - especially when the work directly impacts employee pay. As our sales organization continues to grow across brands and markets, this role will provide critical operational capacity to support commission accuracy, Payroll readiness, and scalable compensation processes.

  • Support recurring sales commission processing in Xactly, including calculation generation, validation, and preparation of commission outputs for Payroll.
  • Upload and validate quotas, one-off payments, adjustments, and other manual commission inputs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve routine Xactly plan, data, and calculation issues under the guidance of a senior team member.
  • Help maintain monthly and quarterly commission processing timelines by completing operational tasks accurately and on schedule.
  • Identify discrepancies, data issues, or process gaps and escalate them proactively.
  • Support commission close activities, including LOA adjustments, SPIFF processing, new hire setup inputs, and exception handling.

 The Experience You’ll Bring

  • 1-2 years of hands-on Xactly Incent experience required, including comfort navigating plan calculations and resolving common system issues.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with complex formulas, pivot tables, data validation, and reconciliations.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large datasets accurately.
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly in work that impacts Payroll and compensation outcomes.
  • Ability to work accurately under deadline pressure during monthly and quarterly commission close cycles.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to flag issues early and provide clear status updates.
  • Collaborative team player who communicates proactively and flags issues early.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or related revenue systems, a strong plus.
