The Role You'll Play

Playlist is looking for a highly driven, detail-oriented Sales Compensation Program Manager to lead the execution of critical sales compensation initiatives across the business. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, bringing structure to complex work, anticipating issues, and balancing day-to-day details with end-to-end program ownership. You’re comfortable pushing for clarity and decisions, and you follow through with a strong sense of ownership. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, HR, Finance, and Payroll to turn plans, pilots, and process improvements into reality. This role ensures projects are implemented accurately, consistently, and on time.

  • Own end-to-end execution of sales compensation initiatives, including plan changes, pilot programs, policy updates, and process improvements
  • Drive multiple concurrent projects, managing timelines, dependencies, prioritization, and launch readiness across workstreams
  • Partner with Sales, Revenue Operations, HR, Finance, Payroll, and other stakeholders to operationalize programs effectively at scale
  • Translate program requirements into clear documentation, trackers, and governance routines that keep teams aligned and moving
  • Improve accuracy and consistency through audits, analyses, and continuous optimization of processes and controls
  • Surface risks, gaps, and decision points early, proposing practical paths forward to keep delivery on track
  • Enable senior compensation leaders to stay focused on plan design, systems, and strategy by increasing execution capacity and reliability

 The Experience You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in sales compensation, revenue operations, strategy and operations, consulting, or a similar cross-functional program ownership role
  • Experience in startup, scale-up, or high-growth environments where priorities shift and teams are building for scale
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cross-functional initiatives simultaneously with strong project management and execution skills
  • Strong operational discipline, including documentation, structured tracking, and stakeholder governance
  • High attention to detail and a consistent focus on accuracy and timeliness
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to drive alignment and accountability across teams
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and building structure as processes evolve
  • Hands-on experience with Excel, Xactly and Salesforce, a strong plus
