Job SummaryThe Director of Strategic Accounts – APAC is a senior leadership role accountable for the growth, retention, and success of Mindbody’s customers across the Strategic Accounts organization in the Asia-Pacific region. This organization includes mid-market sales and account management, enterprise sales and account management, and technical account management, supporting a portfolio of high-value, multi-location customers across APAC.This leader will oversee teams across these functions, ensuring a cohesive, customer-centric approach to new business acquisition, partnership development, solution delivery, and operational excellence.In addition to managing and expanding existing customer relationships, the Director will play a key role in shaping regional acquisition strategy, supporting high-impact opportunities, and ensuring successful onboarding, adoption, and long-term growth across both mid-market and enterprise segments.Growth & Retention ExecutionOwn revenue, growth, and retention targets across the Strategic Accounts organization, spanning mid-market and enterprise customer segments.Drive consultative, solution-based selling strategies that integrate client goals with Mindbody’s platform capabilities.Ensure delivery of proactive value through data insights, operational improvements, and technology adoption.Cultivate senior-level relationships with C-suite and key decision-makers across strategic customers; serve as executive sponsor for top-tier clients, driving customer satisfaction, renewals, and expansion opportunities.- Oversee new business acquisition and account growth strategies across mid-market and enterprise segments, aligning outreach and account planning with regional and vertical growth priorities.
- Ensure seamless transition from sales to account management, creating strong onboarding and long-term customer success outcomes.
- Creatively adapt global strategies and processes to best suit local market dynamics, regulations, and customer behavior.
- Serve as a voice of the customer and regional advocate to influence product, marketing, and GTM decisions.
- Lead regional account-based marketing initiatives in partnership with Marketing and Revenue Operations.
- Partner closely with Product Managers to advocate for customer needs, support roadmap alignment, and represent APAC market demands in product planning conversations.
- Define and monitor KPIs and OKRs to track performance and drive continuous improvement across sales, account management, and technical account management functions.
- Implement scalable account planning and QBR frameworks tailored to mid-market and enterprise clients.
- Leverage CRM and business intelligence tools to forecast pipeline and identify risks and opportunities.
- Actively contribute to and influence the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) by providing regional insights, growth projections, and team resource requirements aligned to strategic objectives.
- Support the creation of business cases and customer proposals for strategic product customizations or complex use cases in partnership with Product, Engineering, and Sales Engineering teams.
- Guide teams in delivering high-impact demos and tailored solutions, ensuring they are aligned with both client outcomes and Mindbody’s product strategy.
- Lead, coach, and inspire a multi-disciplinary team across mid-market sales and account management, enterprise sales and account management, and technical account management in APAC.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
- Recruit, retain, and develop top talent; define and support career paths, learning, and succession planning.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant postgraduate education preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, customer success, strategic account management, general management, or related leadership roles.
- 7+ years managing senior-level client-facing teams, with at least 3 years in APAC markets.
- Proven success leading high-impact teams across multiple countries and time zones.
- Track record of growing multimillion-dollar accounts and delivering against ambitious growth and retention goals.
- Deep understanding of SaaS models, customer lifecycle value, account management, and solution-selling principles.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex client organizations and internal cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels through structured communication and creative problem-solving.
- Experience working with mid-market and enterprise clients in health, wellness, fitness, or appointment-based industries.
- Technical acumen and experience partnering closely with product and engineering teams or managing TAMs.
- Familiarity with APAC business customs, languages, and regulatory environments.
