About the Role

We’re looking for a Lead Product Designer who thrives in complex systems and can bring a strong design-thinking voice to ambiguous problems.

This is an IC role on our Design Systems squad, with additional commitment supporting our new Professional Services (ProServe) squad where you will deliver bespoke solutions for our strategic accounts.

The role is anchored in Mindbody Core, and will increasingly support design system work that spans ClassPass, Consumer Products, and Playlist as we scale our system across the company.

What you’ll do

Design Systems

  • Drive Design Systems work that improves how teams design and ship across Playlist, including patterns, workflows, and foundations.
  • Contribute production-ready specs and guidance that help teams implement consistently (states, interaction details, edge cases, and accessibility requirements).
  • Evolve patterns based on real shipping needs, partnering deeply with PMs, EMs, and engineers to make tradeoffs without lowering quality.
  • Help scale the system as we expand our support across Playlist products.
  • Advance AI-enabled system workflows that improve design-to-build quality, consistency, and speed.

ProServe

  • Lead design for ProServe initiatives end-to-end, partnering directly with Strategic Accounts and our customers to understand goals, constraints, and success criteria.
  • Work flexibly across touchpoints as needs arise across our product ecosystem, building broad product knowledge while going deep on the spaces you touch.
  • Collaborate with Strategic Account Managers and customers to communicate designs clearly, incorporate feedback, and build trust through craft and clarity.
  • Own production-ready deliverables that support high-quality implementation for bespoke work and drives high customer satisfaction.
Who you are
  • You have product design experience, with strength in systems thinking and a track record shipping complex workflows.
  • You have experience building or maintaining a design system (patterns, components, guidance, or foundations).
  • You are an exceptional partner to engineering, comfortable discussing constraints and making tradeoffs without lowering quality.
  • You bring strong product thinking and can help teams solve the right problems, not just deliver outputs.
  • You are highly effective in cross-functional collaboration, and you can keep work moving through ambiguity.
  • You have excellent internal and external communication skills, and are comfortable presenting work both internally, and externally to strategic customers.
  • You care deeply about craft, accessibility, and details that make experiences feel clear and trustworthy.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience designing for B2B platforms, internal tools, or multi-surface systems.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled product or workflow design (or strong curiosity and fluency in exploring it).
