The Role You'll Play
At Playlist, we're reimagining how businesses harness the power of data to drive meaningful insights and transform decision-making. As a Sr Business Intelligence Analyst, you'll be a critical architect of our data strategy, turning complex information into actionable intelligence that propels our business forward.
- Lead strategic data projects that transform raw information into compelling business narratives, driving operational excellence and innovative decision-making
- Design and maintain sophisticated data models that serve as the company's source of truth, ensuring data integrity and accessibility across the organization
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop self-service BI tools, dashboards, and reports that empower stakeholders with critical business insights
- Proactively monitor business trends, creating advanced analytical presentations that translate complex data into clear, impactful recommendations
- Build and optimize ETL pipelines, ensuring seamless data integration across production, business, and third-party systems
- Develop technical documentation that clarifies data sources, metric definitions, and key analytical initiatives
- Conduct in-depth impact and predictive analyses to support strategic business decisions and emerging opportunities
- Leverage advanced analytical tools to interpret global business data, identifying trends that drive operational effectiveness and strategic growth
The Experience You’ll Bring
- Expertise in Business Intelligence, data modeling, or similar analytical roles within high-growth environments
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, and BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong technical expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and enterprise data warehousing
- Experience supporting Fraud & Risk functions or leading Fraud & Risk analytics initiatives, including building monitoring frameworks, investigating incidents, and defining risk-related KPIs
- Demonstrated experience with Snowflake, GitHub, dbt, and analytics platforms like Amplitude and Pendo
- Exceptional ability to translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations
- Proven track record of collaborating effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Advanced critical thinking skills with the ability to independently manage complex projects
- Deep understanding of SaaS industry metrics and strategic business dynamics
