At Playlist, we're reimagining how technology can fuel meaningful, real-world experiences. We're seeking a strategic Senior Compensation Analyst to design and elevate our compensation programs, ensuring we attract, retain, and motivate top talent across our global organization.
The Role You’ll Play:
- Lead semi-annual compensation planning (base, bonus, and long-term incentives) in close partnership with HRBPs, HRIS, HR Ops, and Finance to ensure accurate, equitable, and seamless execution.
- Conduct market pricing and benchmarking analysis, leveraging compensation survey data and analytical tools to maintain competitive compensation structures
- Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners to develop nuanced offer recommendations and conduct strategic employee pay reviews
- Design and maintain robust job architecture and dynamic pay ranges that reflect market trends and organizational needs
- Create compelling dashboards and executive-level reporting that transform complex compensation data into actionable insights
- Champion pay transparency and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements
- Refine incentive programs that motivate and align with our company's strategic objectives
- Drive continuous improvement of compensation tools, processes, and analytical methodologies
Experience You Bring:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Compensation or related field (Finance, Consulting, Investment Banking), experience in the technology sector preferred
- Advanced analytical and data visualization capabilities. Skilled in Excel (pivot table, index match, complex models, etc.). Experience with other advanced analytical tools (such as Python or SQL) is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex compensation cycles (experience with Pave, Dayforce, Workday is a plus)
- Comprehensive understanding of compensation surveys, market pricing methodologies, salary structures, and job leveling frameworks
- Proven experience supporting compensation strategies across multiple countries, with nuanced knowledge of US and international market pricing dynamics
- Exceptional ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives for diverse stakeholders
- Strong business acumen with outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail coupled with a proactive sense of ownership and strategic thinking
- Experience supporting compensation in multiple countries and familiarity with US and international market pricing
- Ability to communicate complex data clearly to non-technical stakeholders
