The Role You’ll Play:
Monitor merchant accounts to detect risky behavior and act quickly to prevent fraud or loss
Investigate flagged accounts, connect with merchants, and provide smart, personalized solutions
Evaluate businesses through credit and risk analysis to support confident decision-making
Analyze complex data from multiple sources to uncover trends and fraud patterns
Support our clients with chargeback strategies and fraud prevention best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance fraud monitoring systems and tools
Partner with internal teams on risk-related inquiries and account underwriting
Own your schedule and priorities while delivering accurate, high-impact insights
MUST be able to work 7am-4pm PST (11am-8pm BRT)
Experience You Bring:
2+ years of experience in payments risk and customer support or a similar function
Skilled at navigating high-stakes situations with calm, clarity, and professionalism
Known for your attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects without missing a beat
Strong analytical instincts—you connect the dots quickly, even with limited data
Clear, adaptive communicator with strong writing skills across technical and client-facing formats
High customer empathy with a proactive mindset to improve outcomes and processes
Comfortable with ambiguity and always looking to learn, grow, and raise the bar
Experience underwriting accounts or working with financial documentation is a plus
