a) "Not being a full quid up stairs" - Is a Lancashire expression I picked up whilst being stationed there, meaning that you are not quite right in the head some weird & wacky thoughts, ideas ha!ha!ha!.
You could also say that the lights are on but no one is at home, which means the same thing, tut tut Caboose
b) Story has in the spelling of the levels of a building etc. is not spelt like has in a book, the correct spelling is: STOREY ok?
Thanks about the offer of cleaning the warthog, but knowing you CABOOSE YOU'D CLEAN EVERY WARTHOG EXCEPT OURS, so no I think you have enough just keeping going at being Caboose.
