I believe music to be one of the most invaluable things in my life. Whether it's a soundtrack to an old favorite movie, a hit from my junior high years, or something my parents played on their turn table, I've used music to relive memories and revisit my past. No matter how old I was or what I was doing, there was always a song playing in the background.
Some songs I love are a bit trite and aren't too creative, and other things I've come across over the years are deemed a bit better by the critics. Some music has been entirely forgotten by others or is practically unknown.
Every single song I've loved, I've held close to my heart, regardless. It's like a loved one, and has added texture to the fabric that is my life.
