At 51 doin great, 28 years on the job,grown son.Musician since '66, studied engineering in the city of champions- Pittsburgh.Still practice, study ,transcribe all to train the ears. It takes 40 years to be a griot(story teller) in the Gambia, when I realized what Wayne Shorter was doing, he was 53 years old! In jazz and blues you don't hit your stride til your 50!
