Looking back at all the things I did,
I shall never regret but one of them,

As I ran after you I couldn't touch you,

I picked myself up and looked at you,
Your eyes were filled with sorrow,

I would have gladly given up my life if you could live just a bit longer,
I needed you but I hurt you,

As woke up I found blood all over my face,
I looked at you while you were hugging me,
I looked down at my hands and could not breathe,
I opened my hands and the sword clanged to the floor,
I looked at you and saw the loving look on your face,
I watched as you fell and could not believe it,
I wanted to love you forever,
And why that happened I will never know,
Why I could have stabbed you and why you still love me,
Why does this happen,
Why did you have to cross-over,
Even when I receive your forgiveness I will never,
Never be able to wash this blood off of my face,
When I'm down there and your in heaven,
You will reach your hand down to me but I will never be able to grasp it,
I will hold my hand to my chest and burn forever,
For I am truly sorry.
