About Me:

'Songs guide peoples lives. People are just waiting for a voice, somebody that says something.' Steven Patrick Morrissey

Music is indeed one of the most important things in my life. I listen to it, research & collect it (not only individual tracks but also full albums). I overuse the words & phrases 'Seriously?', 'Fuck', 'To be honest' & 'D'ya know what I mean' (all with a fake Manchester-accent ;P)'. I'm a Social Worker & the worst thing somebody has ever said to me was 'Your mother has just passed away'. I love the word foreboding & my favourite building is the Sagrada Familia.

if you delete this comment, your computer will turn into this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=USfVXPlWBMM That is so interesting you called me MIKE. My brothers name is Michael aka Mike...and for some reason people, like yourself, will call me my brother's name, not knowing I even have a brother by that name. I think my mother should have just named us both Michael, or Robert...I get Robert sometimes too...but my name is Richard. I also go by Rich, Rick, Dick...so call me really whatever four letter word you would like to call me please, satisfaction guaranteed. I'm glad you like my mespace blogs, I work hard on them lol and it seems like no one really cares. It is such a lonely place here on the other side of this keyboard. Your to sweet for your words of kindness for calling me "creative". You should post more of your own Polaroids on this pg so I can see your creative side. All the pics are very nice on Xanga though. I just posted a Polaroid picture of myself and friends. Just imagine your self in that pic, that would be so cool. I know you would have loved the show we went that nite too :P My friend Miguel likes Polaroids too. By the way, I'm curious, why do you delete my comments?

It is cruel, you know, that music should be so beautiful. It has the beauty of loneliness and of pain; of strength and freedom. The beauty of disappointment and never-satisfied love. The cruel beauty of nature, and everlasting beauty of monotony-Benjamin Britten-

You should be very proud of yourself. It is quite a feat. Nothing is greater than the transcendence of purpose. “Nothing splendid was ever created in cold blood. Heat is required to forge anything. Every great accomplishment is the story of a flaming heart.” ~Arnold H. Glasgow

It’s impressive in itself how many play list you’ve made, but it’s just amazing to me how rich each one is. How you manage to know and find such a diverse array of music is awesome, humbling and uplifting. Not to mention entertaining. I’m a big fan.

Hands down one of the top playlist I'd come across here. Mighty mighty impressed with your knowledge of music and of your charming personality as well. Cheers =)

Hi Anna! (( sending you hugs )) If I can stop one heart from breaking, I shall not live in vain. If I can ease one life the aching, Or cool one pain, Or help one fainting robin Unto his nest again, I shall not live in vain. - Emily Dickinson

Music speaks what cannot be expressed, soothes the mind and gives it rest, heals the heart and makes it whole, flows from heaven to the soul.

“Human beings, vegetables, or comic dust, we all dance to a mysterious tune, intoned in the distance by an invisible player”~ Albert Einstein

What you've done becomes the judge of what you're going to do - especially in other people's minds. When you're traveling, you are what you are right there and then. People don't have your past to hold against you. No yesterdays on the road. ~William Least Heat Moon, Blue Highways You may never read a more honest, spiritual and thoughtful portrait of America than this book. It was written some years ago but it is enduring.
