6S's early influences in music derived from classical, pop/r&b, classic rock, hard rock, progressive metal, grunge. During a 12 year span he participated in numerous rock/metal bands form Seattle to LA and made friends with the likes of Mother Love Bone, Alice In Chains, WASP, Megadeth, Faster Pussycat plus many other well known groups from Seattle/LA. His slow clash to dj-ing first reared it's head in 1999 a crossroads in life.

With all the frustration in maintaining a band & drug issues of band members & the demise of a 5 year relationship with an aspiring model/actress (to make a long story short), he decided to venture the solo artist notion. But the X would not let go with out a fight aka Drama- to distance himself from further drama, He then stop hanging out in the same circles she knew. Which later lead him to meet a new vibrant crowd with lots of hot girls which were into the club, after hours & the rave scene. But to him the music was very inconsistent, "yeah some of the music was good but felt the majority sounded to redundant & repetitive!", But the tracks he liked, really grew on him so that's when he took a personal interest and via over the internet- he searched & listened to peoples message board threads suggestions & other dance culture websites & record stores.

Within 6 months he came up with his own conclusions & then progressed to making compilation CD's "mix tape" to listen to when hanging out, his new friends were impressed with the knack for track selection and genre integrity for a newbie- soon after he would ask nonchalantly if they ever heard this track and they'd be awed & bewildered- a star is born lol. By 2000 he had a great collection of tracks from artist such as Tiesto/Chicane/Nick Warren/Rabbit In The Moon later on to Darude & other emerging producers. His new summer click had 2 local working dj's which threw massive warehouse weekend raves. One of the dj's suggested to him, he should start dj'ing, beside playing what you want and being in a party atmosphere as a job, he added (guy talk) chics frickin' dig it too, so why not? Well being a musician the "chic digging it" statement did not phase him and was not a major selling point.

Before summer ended he had a female roommate move in with a pair of technics turntables, after showing him her record collection lol & hearing her "take" on the scene & the basic principal of what the "perfect mix" was- she stated, "you want it to sound like one continuous song -flawlessly go from one record/track to another" (her idol at the time was the female dj- Dj Rap) So every chance he had, he played with her decks, but they were her records (some a little too girlie for his taste) so he started slowly obtaining his own vinyl records, this was the beginning of his dj-ing passion, After his first year his style further progressed with the likes of Darude, D:Fuse, Tiesto, Oakenfold, PVD, BT + many others. With various dj names he used over the years such as DJ Raven/Pro-Tech/Dj Vu. By August 2001 he was playing live in Las Vegas/LA Clubs/Raves & Burning Man. As the years progressed he slowly evolved with the changing sounds along with his past love for rock music & heavy beats- he incorporates a rockin' edgy side of dance music which he currently mixes with strict extracts from progressive house, trance, tech house, breakbeat, electro, electronica, minimal- coupled with self produced productions & sampling/remixes featuring popular pop/hip hop/rock/metal groups past to present. Since 2006- 6S is his calling which came to him and awoke him in the middle of the night.

Currently he embraces the "making music with music" philosophy and making it all his own with self production & a massive state of the art dj setup. Musicianship deeply rooted in his viens he demands "the live sound fidelity" a preresiquite! His performance driven abilities empowers the notion- "A hard act to follow!", Thus rendering him instant main feature status.

Due to his quirky & eccentric nature he doesn't accepts residencies or pro-take in massive dj line up events. Notoriety not being his foremost objective, he's very particular about when & where he plays. Sound System and dj booths have to meet his strick criteria. Any world class club will be lucky to have him as a feature.
