Last day (day 7). We saw Jim Morrison's grave today (lead singer of The Doors). We saw two black cats at the cemetary. Simon was pretty good until lunch, and then my dad took him back to the apartment. I feel bad for him. I mean, when is he gonna get well?!?!?!? I am sooooooo exited to see you and Paige and Hayley and Tyler and them again! I miss everyone!!!!!!

The song that you told me about, Nothing But You, by Paul Van Dyke? Um.... I listened to the whole thing, and it is REALLY wierd. I thought that there were vocals, but there aren't. It was okay, though. Kinda reminded me of some new age stuff I heard last year at this resturaunt. The kind of electronica/euro-pop/dance music I listen to has singing in it, so it isn't really like that song. How did you come across that, anyway?!?!?!

Day six. Simon still is a little bit sick, but he got some meds and was able to come with us to the luvre. We saw the Mona Lisa and a really cool Egypt exhibit. Then, my mom and I went to this really old church, and the place where everyone waited to be beheaded. I had fun, but I sure do miss everybody at home! See you Friday morning! (or sooner if I can catch you between classes!) Maybe we could go ice-skating Friday night.

Day five. My dad and I went to a war museum. It was pretty cool. We saw Napolean's(sp?) tomb. And, my mom and I want to the Opera. It was VERY impressive. Simon is still sick. :(
Day four. Simon was sick again today. More tummy problems. Poor thing! I feel really bad for him. He looks miserable. Hopefully, he will be better by morning. I might be able to call again tonight, but I'm not for sure. Luckily, the hotel phone is free. See you in a couple days! Paisley
Day three. My mom and I went shopping today, but my dad and my little brother, Simon, couldn't come because he is a little bit sick. Are you doing anything for Easter? LOL! I absolutely LOVE how creative the begging is here. Like, the day we first rode the metro, a lady moved to the center of the train, sang a song, and then asked for money. When no one paid her, she just moved on to the next train section/car. Then, four different people tried to scam us on the street by "finding" a ring (they actually palmed it), then telling us that they just found gold, and would we like to buy it? Isn't that clever? I mean, the ring wasn't really gold at all, just gold plastic. And then this morning, a man got on the metro and played the accordian for money! It was really cool. Btw, I heard from Paige what Kyle said to you the other day about the "hot French guys", and let me be the first to say that you have NOTHING to worry about. I was actually really upset about it when I heard it from Paige, but I am pretty sure that Kyle didn't mean anything by it. Any plans for spring break? See ya soon!

Second day. We went to an anthropology museum today, and it was a little confusing because all the info cards were in French. We also went under the Eiffel tower. We are probably going to go up to the top in a couple days. I found a little plastic model of the tower. It was hot pink and it lit up. Very cool. Sooooooo...... Anything happening at home? How was the in-school dance? Are you going to the real dance tonight? Have they announced the winning theme for the 8th grade dance? I might be able to call over the weekend if you want me to. Have a good spring break!

Finally in Paris!!!! It is pretty here, but also really cold. It rained today, so we couldn't spend much time looking around. The plane ride was okay. I don't think I slept, though. See you on Wednesday!
