Unveil

Unveil is a canadian Dark Rock band from Sherbrooke, Québec. With the power of metal, the subtlety of prog and the gloom of goth, they set out to map the uncharted road of their unique rock musical soundscape.

Unveil took its initial breath in 2004 when Alain decided to unearth material he had written for a previous project, a late 90's darkwave duo, named Vena Cava. The first step was to gather musicians. Good friends Pom (Drums) and Mr.Lee (Lead guitar at that time) quickly jumped on the band wagon. They rehearsed (and jammed) frequently with various bass players including their friend Greg, ex-member of Retalihate. But none of them seemed to capture the desired spirit.

Nevertheless, the group recorded a few songs and signed-up for a MySpace account in 2006, where they got heads turning. Cyberspace also gave them a chance to meet-up with creators who brought their own visual spark to this shadow filled universe.

Mr.Lee offers to take on bass duty for a while so they can get out and play. All it took was one rehearsal. From now on, Mr.Lee will play bass and Unveil is officially a three piece band. 2007 will finally bring in their first gigs. This is really where the band is at its best. This is what Unveil is all about. That same year, they released their first conceptual video thanks to a new partnership with Disturbed Squad.
