I love music so much. I love going to shows and rocking out. Love to dance but Im rusty cause I don't get out much. Wish I could play an instrument. The type of instruments I'd play would be the violin, cello, piano, xylophone, turntables, or drums. Im 32 yrs old(damm Im old), single, straight, and open to new music and peeps. Most of my play-list are mixes that were created to be played from beginning to end continuously. I'm very proud of them because of the sweet transitions between songs. I know I'm a geek with no life. I have a facebook page(of course) just search for my HP with "ram100677"

I'm not impressed with Jesus turning water into wine, Russians can turn potatoes into vodka.

yeah i looked at those videos, i loved the yeasayer subway performance, in fact, all the stuff from blogotheque is pretty amazing, is the only in france? i saw a few musicians on the subway when i was there, but nothing THAT good... anyways, i'll check out that documentary when i get the chance. and 'treat me like your mother' by the dead weather is now on playlist. also check out io echo's 'doorway', i actually heard it from a sprint commercial, haha!

i actually came across le loup when studying for an art history exam last semester. i looked up a work of art by ____ called the throne of the third heaven of the nation's millennium general assembly (which also has an interesting story behind it) and i came across le loup's album of the same name. and i don't really go to shows much. as a college student i don't exactly have a lot of money to spend... but thanks for the videos and i'll let you know what i think soon when i watch them

I totally miss SXSW, went like 4 years in a row a few years ago. The last one I went to had Dillinger Escape Plan - it was total horror show.

hey rick! this is kind of late, but were you, umm, not-quite-sober when you sent me that last message? it seemed... odd. anyways, here's a few recommendations i think you'll enjoy: sam sparro "black & gold", wombats "lets dance to joy division", danger "11h30", battles, quantic, prefuse 73, & she wants revenge. that's all for now, hope you like them!

wow thanks a lot for all of those! i have yet to give you recommendations, but it WILL happen. and why the private message? is this a secret passion of yours? cool i guess. and there is no doubt that beastie boys > eminem. fo sho. anyways, for now i can recommend bubba sparxxx, busta rhymes, blue scholars, rjd2, spank rock, and DEFINITELY look up danger mouse's grey album. danger mouse (of gnarls barkley) mashes lyrics of jay-z's black album to unauthorized samples from The Beatles' white album. personally i think its better than jay-z's, but thats just me. oh and youtube search "jay-z 'brooklyn we go hard' by evan roth", its not on playlist (dammit), but its awesome. so thanks again and i'll get back to you with non-hip-hop recommendations.

haha yes i know, i just can't really take most of it seriously, not that i dislike all of it, there are some excellent hip-hop/rap artists out there, don't get me wrong

oh and i forgot to mention that i will make recommendations for REAL music (don't worry, no hip-hop, that just for my own entertainment) haha!

oh wow! thanks for all the recommendations! i'll definitely check those out soon - now that i'm out of school, but i still got finals, unfortunately. and after i check out yours i'll of course find some for you, i don't know as much underground stuff as i'd like to, but i'll see what i can do... for the last few days i've just been fucking around and adding a load of hip-hop on here, which is weird since i usually have a major aversion to that genre in general. i'm just recently really looking into underground hip-hop, and i just found out literally three minutes ago that bubba sparxxx is WHITE! WHAT THE FUCK?!?!
