HEY! IF your reading this then you are probably reading my fanfic! :D
this will explain why each song is significant to the plot/chapter.

1) Far Away - Prolouge:
Rupert obviously is trying to get over Jenny, and is struggling. He knew he missed her, but not until he saw her on the staircase had he really realised how much he missed her. "Far Away for Far to Long". His biggest fear is losing her again.

2) Halo - Chapter 1: Waking Up
This song is basically takes the fact that Giles is her "Librarian is Tweed/ Knight in shining armor." even after all the lies, and betrayl, they know they are always going to stick together, through think and thin.

3) As Long as You Love me - Chapter 1: Waking Up
When Jenny feels that she needs to be punished and Giles shouldn't help her, or be with her. Giles on the other hand doesn't care "Who she is (Janna), where she's from (Gypsy Klan), what she did (lie/betray), as long as she loves him."

4) You'll be in My Heart - Chapter 2: My Best Friend
After Jenny remembers everything from her dream, she feels scared... vonerable... and like she should never be forgiven. Giles Disagrees. He Will always be there to protect her, and he doesn't care about what the scoobies think... but Jenny didn't exactly do anything wrong. He assures her that "She'll always be in his heart" no matter what, and "he will be there for her, always."

5) I knew I Loved you - Chapter 2: My Best Friend
This song was the inspiration to this chapter. When Jenny reads the note Giles left for her at her grave he says she was his "Best Friend, and he loves her." To me, it touches me so much to concider the lovers as Best Friends also. - hints - the song.

6) Blame it - Chapter 3: Crazy Librarian
Okay, maybe not the best song... suggest any better ones if you like, but I had to put a song for Giles being Drunk ;)

7) I Only Have Eyes For You - Chapter 4: Gender Blender
Not only is this the title of the episode thats taking place but it can also Giles drowning in his "Crazy Phase." Even after Jenny's death, Giles still see's her, and he knows that he just can't love any one else "I only have eyes for you."

8) Your Guardian Angel - Chapter 4: Gender Blender & Chapter 5: Gypsy Dreams
This takes place in two chapters because, in chapter four it's the first time you see Jenny acting out the role of a "Guardian Angel" towards Buffy, but Chapter five is when her dream first adresses it. I think this song is more directed to Jenny to Buffy (motherly love - don't get grosse on me guys lol), but also for Giles to Jenny or Jenny to Giles <3

9) Found Me - Chapter 6: Unlocking Your Future
This song expresses Giles feelings once he realises that Jenny is REALLY REAL, not a ghost, but alive. For a whole day, she had made no contact with him. Also, he's even more scared that she's going to disapper, or leave again.

10) Hanging by a Moment - Chapter 6: Unlocking your Future
Basically he's told her that he loves her for the FIRST TIME. Worried that he is falling even more in love with some one who might just be imaginary... he's not sure what he's diving into... letting go of all he's held on to (Sanity)... and nothing else he could lose. So he takes a chance and asks her to move in with him. "Hanging by every moment" with this "imaginary creature."

11) Look After You - Chapter 7: Fever, Flash, and Fear
Jenny is BURNING UP! Giles Loves Jenny and is going to "look after her", even from something as simple as a fever. Simple, but add the song, and it just seems more touching doesn't it?!

12) My Love - Chapter 8: Mental Slaps
Creepy doctor has a crush on Jenny. In the back of his mind, he wonders if she'd ever like him back. This kind of speaks for itself, but I feel odd not putting an explianation. So that was my explination. lol.

13) Cold Wind Blows Through Your Door - Chapter 9/10 - My Medicine and Chapter 11: What are Friends For
Basically from Giles to Jenny. He's telling her that he'll always be with her. Also her medicine is the COLD WAVE and goosebumps that Giles seems to supply her with, so hints "A COLD WIND WILL BLOW THROUGH YOUR DOOR." Also shows concern that he wants her safe, and healthy.

14) Let Me Love You - Chapter 11: What are Friends For
Obviously Ralphs Love for Jenny has Grown, and he conciders Rupert his "competition." He is willing to give up everything for her, and wants to try and show Jenny that Rupert is no good for her.

17) My Sweet Escape - THE TITLE OF THE STORY
Gotta put the song that inspired the chapter. Well, I think I thank my Grandpa for that one. I over heard him talking about me and this song... asking if I knew it or something, and at that moment I was searching for a title to my story. I thought "What a better name? It was in fact my own 'Sweet Escape' from my reality, and Jenny's Escape from her Gypsy clan."
