I'm younger then you might think, and I wasn't even BORN in the eightys, more late nighties. But, I was always into older songs thanks to my Dad, along with new ones. Therefore, I think that this guy was a role model for everyone in the 80s, even in present-day, this guy was very smart and I think he deserves a bravo. (CLAP CLAP!!!!!!!!) But, I love The Breakfast Club and all, and once again, a good-bye to John Hughes, though may we never forget him. I think John Hughes was a legend, and we all will never forget this 80's King; him and all of the movies he directed. We'll miss you John!

John Hughes, I think he was great. All his movies were great. He could understand us better then some others could. He was a master of the 80's, and I'm sure that Molly Ringwald misses him as well. If it weren't for John Hughes, we wouldn't know about some of the talents out there among himself. We will all miss John Hughes a ton. Good bye John Huges, we won't forget about you.

All this week the Harkins Theatre in Tempe, Az is holding a Mini John Hughes Film Festival. They are showing Pretty In Pink, 16 Candles, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Planes Trains and Automobiles, Wierd Science, and the Breakfast Club for only $5 each (total STEAL) To see them on the big screen with an entire theater full of people of all ages (sold out shows-NO DOUBT) gives me chills. Some super-fans were saying the lines with the charcters, singing the songs but everyone was still laughing at the jokes and giving a round of applause at the end of each show. My ass still hurts from seeing 6 movies in one day over the weekend.....and I would do it all over again:)
Let me know if things change and you *SUDDENLY* become interesting.

Big love for John Hughes. I am grateful for the laughter, the joy, the heartbreak - bittersweet (the best kind) and the tears his films and the music he chose for them brought me as a teen during the '80's. Beautiful memories. Hollywood has lost a great filmmaker too soon. Condolences to his family and friends.

I've gotta say that John Hughes directed absolutely THE best movies out there today. I've seen them all and I love them. They catch teenage life so perfectly. I'm a teenager and I live by those movies. These new movies are so raunchy and predictable, it's annoying. I think that more girls can connect to Molly Ringwald than Hannah Montana or some other teenage girl. High school is all about 16 Candles and The Breakfast Club. Not High School Musical. Who can resist saying, "Beuller... Beuller.. Beuller." when that old subsitute teacher keeps repeating someone's name who obviously isn't there?
Totally lame that more kids my age have never heard of The Brat Pack. Though John Hughes is gone, his movies will forever live on!
