A collection of tracks I hold dear, no matter how cheesy, schmaltzy, or (in certain instances) over-earnest they might seem, as time passes. I guess you could say they're my "comfort songs", more than anything else.

This playlist runs the gamut of styles i've listened to, from grade school onwards. So it's a fairly accurate snapshot of my tastes as a whole: the formative hair metal ballads, the obligatory mid 90s alt rock, not to mention a few more contemporary indie(-ish) cuts that defined my recent past. I don't know if that makes it "too cool" to fit the criteria of the assignment, but oh well... I stand by my picks.
