That is normally how it happens, we ask for guidance through prayer, and he answer in teaching or scripture or through prayer. Faith and trust guide us through times of uncertainty knowing confidently that God will be there at all times and through everything, even when it is unclear.

You've read it so: there's four points to this verse.
1.Stay at your post and 2.Stay Alert- I will stand at my watch and will station myself on the ramparts;
3.Believe God will speak- I will look to see what he will say to me
4.Be ready to respond- what answer I am to give to this complaint.
There are two additional points that I was taught from this verse: Until you are given a new direction, just keep doing what God told you to do last. And if you want to know what God's will is for your life, say "Yes Lord, what is the question?"

The only thing that I can say, is remain in prayer for others and the unsaved. Study the Bible and learn as much as you can.
Remain on the course that you are currently on, but if God calls you to go anywhere, be ready. Here are a few scriptures to read Habakkuk 2:1 and James 4:13-17. Just keep counseling and being active in your church. If you get the tiem to do so over the summer, read as much of the new testament as possible, ignore revelations, its a good book, but there is a lot of confusing material.
I am assuming that you have been baptized. Are you willing to promote and proclaim the kingdom of God and your savior, even if it costs you your life? Read Luke 9, and pray a lot about it.

The main thing is Pray for guidance and an opening to where God may lead you. The answer may not happen very quickly, I finally got my answer after probably five years of waiting. Now God has given me a direction (New Orleans), I just have get my act in gear, and I might be there in August. I have to take two minors there, but I took a bunch of classes at another University, so I am looking to transfer my PE credits for my minor. I am thinking that I am going to have that minor be titled Wellness minor. Here's why: It would cover the aspects of Physical Health, Mental Health, and Spiritual Health. Primarly I would adjust a majority of the focus for teenagers, because that is probably the most difficult time period in anyone's life. But I may extend that to other ages as well, given that they seek counseling. The hard issue is with criminal justice is the need for concrete evidence. I know that several people are involved in law enforcement(cops), but not too many in the criminal investigations field. Wherever God leads you, just remain firm in faith by prayer and remaining steadfast in the Bible. Here's what is interesting about my current situation: I have been accepted at seminary yet, and God is already working me to counsel teenagers, I have maybe two people in my friends list that are over 20 years of age...

Speaking of college: do you have any ideas of what you might like to do? I am trying to finish my seminary application, which I am certain that God would want me to go.

I just try to learn as much as can that relates to God, the Bible, and the way other people and religions view Christianity. What year of high school/college did you just finish?

That's pretty cool. I am Southern Baptist by denomination. Being baptist just refers to that your church practices that baptism is the public display of one's proclamation of faith in Christ, and knowing why Christ had to die on the cross.

Since I do not know question you were referring to, I am going to answer both. First of all just curious to see where everyone on my friend's list is both age wise, and Christianity-wise (if that makes sense). Like my neighbors in public school, have school for another week or so. Other states have been done already. So I don't know where everyone's at.
Anyways, is your summer starting off well? And what denomination of Chtristianity are you? Have fun!

I have been well for the most of the time. I have a couple of questions for you: Are you done with school? And, are you a Christian?

I thank God and the Holy Spirit for guiding me in speech and conduct, currently organizing my college notes so that I can organize them to present a wellness minor to the seminary. So what are you up to?
