Gather My Sisters
GATHER MY SISTERS an original poem by Eugenia Clark©2008 Gather my sisters In your purple and red Your hat sits gracefully upon your head. You have done for others all of your life Now it’s your turn to grab some spice. We come in 2’s, 3’s and 4’s But in a full chapter it says so much more. We are here to share, we are here to laugh We are here to have fun and follow a path Of sisterhood, motherhood and womanhood And let others know that it’s well understood. Life isn’t over at 50, oh no, life has just begun For us, the Red Hatters, we believe what’s been sung “Like a fine wine, we get better with time!†Poem may not be used without prior permission from author
