Maximum number of tracks: 75

by JeremyR. on December 6, 2006

Hello everyone. Just so you all know, we had to create a maximum number of music tracks per playlist. You can have as many playlists as you want, but you can only have 75 tracks per playlist. This is because some big playlists were breaking the site. So, to help everyone enjoy the site we had to create a limit.

NOTE: If you already have a large playlist, don't worry -- no tracks will be deleted from your playlist. You will just have to add new tracks to a new playlist

I hope everyone understands. Thanks!

mp3 player changes

by JeremyR. on November 15, 2006

Hello everyone -- we are starting to implement the new players. They have the following improvements:

1. If a song doesn't work, the player will skip it instead of stopping

2. Click "URL" to copy and paste the link to the site where the song is hosted.

3. Click "add+" to copy and paste the link to add any song to your playlist (works on myspace too!)

We also made a few more small improvements. If you have any comments, please post them here!

Numerous Playlists

by JeremyR. on November 6, 2006

We received a few notes about people getting too many playlists created automatically. To delete these unwanted playlists, click on the playlist, click the "edit" tab and then scroll all the way down and click "delete".

Make sure you only delete the ones you don't want because there is no way to get them back after they are deleted.

Rest assured, we are working on a fix for this problem right now.

by JeremyR. on September 29, 2006

Hey everyone -- I need some BETA testers for the new myspace players. If you would like to try out the new players and be one of the first on myspace to have a color music player for your playlist (black, green, blue, purple, pink, etc), click here. Please return here and post comments/suggestions. If I get good feedback, these new players will replace the old ones.

Site back online, please report bugs

by JeremyR. on September 26, 2006

The site went down Monday afternoon (9/25) and then when it came back up there were some odd bugs. If you tried to create an account on Monday and were unable, please try again -- it now works fine. If you are a long-time playlist user and you login to your account and find anything wrong, please post a comment to this post and we can manually fix those errors. NOTE: First time or new users, please post in the forum if you need help.

Also, if you are searching for music and run into anything wierd, let us know.

This is why we are still in beta ;)
