At this time, due to licensing agreements (contracts) currently in place, audio is restricted to some locations; if you are seeing a message on the site regarding licensing that would indicate you are located in one of those areas.
There is not a way to bypass the restriction.
We understand this is frustrating for users, and we apologize for that frustration - we are activity investigating ways to offer audio again, at some point in the future, to restricted locations.

I am sorry but i do not feel this is acceptable.
You are letting the UK users down because of these licensing agreements and i am sure that you will loose many people.
if you do however make it possible for UK users to access audio on the Playlist.com, then i suggest e-mailing us about it

I am absolutely disgusted and angry that I cannot use ANY of my playlists any more which I used to use on a regular basis.
I don't know which country you are meant to be in to play these but it isn't the UK!
I will NOT be using this service again, and will be going ELSEWHERE for this service.

I love this site and all it offers however the amount of downtime that I and other friends have recieved due to licensing restrictions is getting a bit annoying. Please can it be sorted out? :/

well looks like you will be loosing all your German fanbase.. if this problem is not sorted out quick, you will loose everybody as we are all getting tired of it and im sorry to say will move on..
Some advice moderators if you want to continue having any customers at all, fix this problem with restrictions quick.. or EVERYONE WILL LEAVE!!!

PPL is just the first site to be hit because it is the largest. Other site will follow as the EU has become a lawyer's gold mine with its copyright laws.

This is crazy! I own a record label and our playlists contain music which is owned by the label and registered with PRS & MCPS. We own the copyrights so why can't we continue to stream the player on our website in the UK? www.zukris.co.uk

Nearly every country has this license restrictions:
-UnitedStates
-United Kingdom
-India
-Germany
-Netherlands
-and more
Always the same message:
Due to licensing restrictions, some or all
tracks may be unavailable for playback
in your country.
Is there any country without this?
Can you tell me?

Thank you for giving us this information, ppl. I'm sorry you're getting so much grief over it ... when obviously it isn't your fault. Perhaps you could publish a list of countries where you currently CAN hear playback ... it might be quicker!! Hoping that you can sort this out. :(

Where's the playlist? This license restrictions is frustrating!! So how can we listen to the music, if this problem cannot solve. Change playlist.com to pauselist.com!!! Better go to the other site.. Quit!!!!!
