Why can't I find my friend?

Okay, so I went to go search for a friend of mine(Gabstermania) and she doesn't come up on the search screen. I log out, she logs on, and no dice the other way around. Do we both have to be logged in or something?

To find your friends on Playlist.com go to http://www.playlist.com/searchbeta/users
Please note that sometimes new users do not show up in the user search results right away. It can take sometime for our records to update and refresh within the system. Everyone does eventually show up though.
If they are not listed yet, you could have them send you the direct URL to their Playlist.com page.
