Song not unavailable??

WEll all but 2 of my nightwish songs are unavailable. what I noticed was alot of the music now unavailable was being streamed from fileden.com apparently they have had copyright laws imposed on them. Well lets just be somewhat patient until music is uploaded onto other stream sites that dont have this problem.

If you observe with the unavailale songs where it saids visit site there is no url. Kinda like what fecking myspace did with our playlists when they began disabling the various url links

Yea same, i got most of the music at home and not online.
That they taken it away from myspace wasnt very clever...
That you got this music on myspace is like commercials for their music and should even do good for them, so people listen to a few songs of them and say "Hey that sounds good, should get more music of them" and thats the reason i only add about 3 or 6 Songs of a band to give examples of the music i listen to. (Because i got it at home and can listen to the rest of it there). Now that they didnt allow it on myspace less people will hear about the music of their friends, about new bands that they didnt heared before. Well, then its their own mistake i have to say... it were a good way to show more people more bands and they didnt even had to pay for making commercials on a website like other sponsors have to do on different websites... But well, if they mean it is a clever way they must be right :) .... hehehe

This blows most of my songs are gone.whats is the deal with these people?,i mean its not like we are stealing their music we are just playing it on our profiles is all.totally not cool dude nearly 100 of the 164 songs i had are unavailable!

Their music, their choice, right?
If Nightwish, Metallica, or anybody else doesn't want their music on the web, then it's their decision.

When you write your own music then you can do what you want with it.

Yea sure is their choice, and as i said if they dont want good commercials for their music then they should remove it...
Just to mention that it is sure not the first time people find new bands that they didnt heared about before and after that started to listen to it.
Well, i dont got a problem with it i got the music at home.
And different people sure find ways to download it somewhere else.
Im not sure if that will help them that people buy more music of them.
There are different ways then this.

By the way yea, i listen to C&C music too miester861.
Funny they still work on my playlist unlike the other songs.
Just to bad playlist.com dont got so many of the C&C music like from Tiberian Dawn, Red Alert, Renegade, ect.

Well my last word to this before i dont really care to respond is just:
They have to know it themselves how they get the people to buy their music.
And this here dont leads to the one, or the other result for both sides...
This were a good way to show more people different bands and would be like commercials but they dont want it, so there choice i dont care.

THIS IS SO RUDE!!! WHERE CAN WE FIND A PLAYLIST MUCH BETTER THAN HERE??? I HAVE TO DELETE MY ACCOUNT I AM NOT ENJOYING ON THIS SITE ANYMORE.

Actually, I was mainly aiming my comments at people like momcy, who don't know how to turn off the caps lock, and consistently moan about things that the site can't do anything about.

Regarding C&C, I found a link back to a non-fileden site that hosted most of the backing tracks from those games. 'twas ace.

I registered yesterday so i'm not much frustrated about it.
You can always try to find other version of songs with a bugs in arists names.
This site still have big database, for example I found a lot of Betty Davis songs while on other sites i couldn't find any.

Actually, this is probably due to a recent hissy fit, over payments - Google/Youtube had this over paying for artists videos/music to be displayed on youtube. This is probably something similar, no doubt.

Stupid as hell, and ridicolous. >_>

Actually, just noted the thing about Fileden. That makes a lot more sense now.

It has got to be legal issues. It has been going on for ages. And if they dont take the songs down of all artists related to labels that havent agreed copyright licenses, then the fines will be severely obscene and playlist WILL go under as a collective result of fines and user loss. They have had to finally give in to the requests to make songs unavailable. Facebook stopped it or else theyll get fined, Myspace dont have much of a need to allow playlists. EMI, WARNER, UNIVERSAL and BMG = the big record companies. BMG and EMI have licensed deals, the other two havent, theyve launched lawsuits. Playlist has lost users dangerously since all these problems have occurred. Business is a tough thing to run!

They may come to a very quick arrangement with songs coming online, or it might take ages!

OR, it could just be a technical fault!!!

every song i have clicked has said unavailable, tagged need to get a new server up

its stupid that i have to delete half my songs because the streams arent checked before they beome available, shouldn't this be done to prevent this problem? mishque.

The hell with the whole publisher/artist-thing. I'll take a few bands I got on my playlist for example: The Dire Straits and AC/DC. Half the songs are greyed out, half the songs work properly. It's almost at random, I mean... It's not album bound as some of the Who Made Who songs are gone, but some still remain.

Either Universal/BMG/Warner/etc did a crap job at taking down piracy, or it's one big technical flaw.

this really killed the website
