quote 'Your Project Playlist widget has been removed from your profile in response to copyright complaints. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but it is absolutely imperative that MySpace respect the rights of copyright owners, artists and record labels.
Isn't Online Music Free?
No, MySpace, Rhapsody, Napster, Imeem, Yahoo Music, Pandora, Last.FM all pay fees to the artist and record labels for the rights for you to play their music online. It may seem free to you, but if it's legal, someone is probably paying for you to hear the music.
Don't I Have the Right to Listen to Songs I Purchased on Amazon, MySpace, iTunes or on CD in My Project Playlist Player?
No, buying the album or song does not give you the right to put the songs in your Project Playlist Player, or upload them to MySpace, or upload them to any file sharing service.
When will I be able to use a Project Playlist music player on MySpace again?
As soon as their legal situation is settled, and the artists are getting paid, MySpace will consider re-enabling the embedding of Project Playlist music players.
Where Do I Get Legal Playlists for My Profile?
Imeem, Last.FM, iLike, and MySpace Music are all good options.
Thanks for your understanding,

Gotta wait it out.... I know another company name Deezer that had the same situation, then later on came through.... Hoping Projectplaylist will too....

many of my friends on my myspace page still have theirs up and running on myspace...why do they pick and choose?

yeah I don't understand why they do pick n choose.. saying that, I've just checked one of my mate's site on myspace and didn't see there either.. I wonder if myspace is cracking down on all of them bit by bit? I've posted Project Playlist's copyright disclamer onto an e-mail to myspace but not getting very far with it.. very confused.. I wonder as 'Zobashi' mentioned, whether myspace will automatically re load my tunes when they do settle their shit..

only thing that doesnt make sense to ME about all of this "playlist not on myspace"
is that playlist still has the links to put it on myspace.
if we cant have them on myspace, then why are the links still their?

Is it possible that Myspace would rather we use their music than put up a playlist from another website? Not happy at all!

Yes exactly; myspace wants you to use their player which I found is nothing more than a method to spam advertising read my post below:
Just incase anyone is thinking of adding myspace players to their myspace page: I am one who's ppl was deleted (although there are still many of my friends who have theirs perfectly intact) I spent alot of time on my site and once again myspace pulls their crap. Well ok so I decided to spend the time and put some kind of christmas songs together so that when you log onto my site there is music. First of all, it is in no way a match for ppl (kudos to you ppl) and you can only use 10 songs! You have no control where to put the thing...ok so I get it on my page and start to listen to the music..after 3 or 4 songs..nothing and why? Because there is a dam advertising pop-up over the player that they want me to click onto or I can choose to click the bottom which reads "return to my music" this is spam crap coming from them!! So now I think we know what is up; obviously myspace gets paid for the pop-up-spam ads, and therefore want you to use they shitcrap of a player...needless to say it is gone I deleted the dam thing right away..just thought I would share incase anyone might be thinking of applying theirs

They killed my playlist right after placing another totally different song lineup on my Ghost Hunters Realm site. I figured that if I had not placed one upon my site, then MySpace would not have disabled the list on their site.
I am presently running the politically correct player on MySpace page as this is really what it is all about. If it is not making money for the site, then it really has to go, since they own the site. They can apparently do what ever they damn well please.
Yet, sorry for the inconvenience, folks is all they can say, yes.

yea...they didn't block them embed, they just deleted that widget...all you have to do is take down the code (save) then put the code back up....thats how i did it

haha my 2 cents are that myspace in an attempt to monopolize their playlist has blocked the most popular w/ probable cause but still a shitty reason

People that still have it, had to customize the code -
I can get it back for you, see a working example on my page below!
Basically you have to replace the src code and take out the three bottom image links and replace them with text links
Don't let myspace get away with this...get your playlist back!
