Why can't I post playlist to Blogger

I have a blog hosted by Blogger but I don't know how to get my playlist posted on there. Help!

-Login to your Blogger account
-Click on View Blog
-Click Customize
-Under Page Element, click Add a Gadget
-On the page that pops up, scroll down and click on HTML/JavaScript
When that new window opens up...
-Paste in the code for your playlist generated from Option E at Playlist.com.
-Click Save Changes
-You should now see your Gadget in the NavBar (where you originally clicked Add a Gadget).
You can also post it as a blog post:
-Use the code generated from option E.
-Look for the < > within the code
-Right before that type this < /embed >

this is where my problem is...i can't find that anywhere
why leave it so vague
