In reply to DJ Crow
Playlist.com uses a flash application to stream your music online. Myspace has no intention of blocking flash applications so they are only blocking the source from loading or the "url". To by pass this, you'll need to make a few simple changes to the code - here's how: (one of many)
*Go to your account at playlist.com
*Click the link to get a new code for myspace (as normal)
*Copy and paste the code on to a text program like notepad or whatever so you can work with the code.
*In the code look for src=" (VERY IMPORTANT: THE FIRST ONE SRC)
*Copy what is in the src url in between the " "
*Then go to http://snipurl.com/ (or any website that offers this service)
*Paste the src url in the long url box and click snip it!
*Copy that new little url and paste back in between the " " where you had the last long url.
*Paste the whole new code you have anywhere on your myspace page as usual! Make sure you delete your old code from your page.
Does not work. Using a redirect service as you suggested only results in an automatic editing of the URL redirect service in my code. In different words, I initially entered:
‹div› .... src="http://tinyurl.com/bso5ox ... ‹/div›
saved the change, got nothing, went back to edit the code and found:
‹div› .... src="http://.../bso5ox ... ‹/div›

My problem had to with NoScript in Firefox. The solution was to grant permission first to the redirect service used and then to indimusic.us

what i just read on others reply/responses is that appearantly MYSPACE isn't allowing the playlist to be used until a legal matter is sorted out between these two (or maybe others involved) so I guess I will go back & use the myspace player:(

I tried, it didn't work--- I was disappointed, maybe I will try again later.

artistnva.... was it for myspace too? I tried, directions were simple but I had NO Playlist after pasting code. If it worked for u too then I will try again, maybe I missed a part of what needed deleted & replaced.

look for the first one that ends in .swf; it should look like this 'http://www.indimusic.us/mc/mp3player_new.swf' mine works properly on my page without any editting im not sure why, but having to help my friend out this is the first time it showed up, so thanks DJ, its strange that it works this way but at least it works

tim, you probably have to snip the url for your custom image as well... seeing as how myspace always rewords every link anyways. as far as the three x's... in between '/object' and '/div' just erase everything from and viola.. no more 3x's
