Has your playlist been removed from your profile? All you see are ".."?

Are we sure myspace is blocking anything? Myspace would just disable the feature and NOBODY would be able to use it. It makes no sense that myspace would go ane edit individual profiles. Not only from a privacy invasion perspective but from a time perspective. When they don't like something (trackers for example), they just ban it and nobody can use it, not just certain people.

When you edit a profile, yes the playlist code gets jumbled up a bit but it's doing that to ALL code. Youtube videos are getting screwed up too, so i'm wondering if this is just an over-reaction.

I don't know how long this will last, but after they blocked my playlist, I went in to edit my profile and deleted the code for my playlist. Then I came back to projectplaylist.com, logged in and got the code again for it and added again to my profile. It immediately started playing again & has been working so far. Don't know what process they are using to block them, but they'll have to go back thru somehow to catch it again I guess. Hope that helps!

So something new is happening everyday @ this point .

If you keep the playlist. I just got an e-mail off myspace saying that this breaches copyright rules. So now I have to use some tacky myspace player with hardly choice for songs at all. God do they suck.

MySpace was developed by one of the biggest online spam operators ever and the software on myspace is still riddled with their corrupt programming. The reason they sold out in the first place was due to potential lawsuits and the buyers shouldered the responsibility knowing full well the reason myspace was being sold. They bought it explicitly to make money and making money means cutting expenses like bandwidth and they don't care if the playlists are one of the major factors you choose them to show a bit of your personality.

But simply examine how much spyware and other crap they expose you to. Look at how they bitch if you have a babe on your page in a bikini and yet their biggest promoters are date and mate sites...hypocrits. Why aren;t they rebuilding MySpace from the ground up to get rid of the corrupted script and viruses? Because thats not important to them and because they probably think they can keep patching things up when its always crashing and hackers are getting into your accounts with little effort.

There are other sites out there like Veoh.com that allow you to load videos up to a gig or more in size, they would be more than happy to have you go to their sites because they know patronage means they make money and they aren't cheapasses cutting back on membership benefits just because they're too greedy to pay the cost of what brings in the members.

Next step for this site and others like it is to stop even mentioning MySpace and giving them free publicity, only promote the sites that promote you and want your membership.

Its a new age...now go grab life by the throat and squeeze until it gives you what you want. There are other alternatives to MySpace, make this site a central hub for them where members can post links to their blog sites and create their own community right here using their space but coming here to help one another build a better internet.

Today belongs to those smart enough to outwit the witless and if you want viruses, spyware and censorship...go to MySpace because thats what they specialise in.

All of a sudden, I find myself unable to login to JUST my myspace account, which had a project music playlist on it. My husband can login, we made a new account and could login, just not to mine, which is finally making me realize (that it's not a hacker, or a problem with my server) that they probably deleted my account, and I am ROYALLY pissed off!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, very simple question. Sorry I'm a newbie! Are these playlist legal? I would hate tohave my myspace account deleted for adding one of these players on my site or for that matter, get involved in a legal dispute for displaying on of these players on any site. So is this legal?

that is so gay! When did they begin this crap? I know project playlist has been around for a long while and so have the playlists so why is this occurring NOW? that still sucks though.

GRRRR! Myspace also removed my playlist. I just deleted the code and put up a normal background song. I think they do this because of copyright problems i guess.

My player was lost in the shuffle also. However, when I went to recover it I was lost here also. Now that took a while to get back and I reloaded all and I doing fine so far. Do we sometimes get lost at Playlist too?

Well since Myspace is free and nobody is paying anything to add anything they want to . . there's really no issue of privacy. They can log in and freely do anything they want on their own site that they own.

Well, to be quite honest projectplaylist is really pushing myspace pretty hard.
Recently myspace is being sued by some big music company (universal I believe) and now myspace is taking extra steps to have less "illegal" songs and or music videos.

Anyways, I think projectplaylist is over its head. Their scrambling around looking for the new and latest hack to bypass myspace's little block. Sooner or later, myspace is going to get fedup with it, and just block projectplaylist (and their 4 domains) all together.

I was looking for some alternatives and I found one.
www.poqbum.com, or http://player.poqbum.com/

They have really nice player skins, and if you follow their directions, it's not too hard to make one. Although its more of a hassle than just looking it up on a search engine, it'll be sure to not be blocked or deleted by myspace.
