White Woman Seated Next To Mexican Man

by Edd Rock on October 17, 2008

A white woman, about 51 years old, was seated next to a mexican man on an airplane. Obviously disturbed by this, she called the air hostess. "Madam, what is the matter?" the hostess asked.

"You obviously do not see it," she responded. "You placed me next to a mexican man. I do not agree to sit next to someone from such a repugnant group. Give me an alternative seat."

"Be calm please," the hostess replied. "Almost all the seats on this flight are taken. I will go to see if another seat is available." The Hostess went away and then came back a few minutes later. "Madam, just as I thought, there are no other available seats in the economy class. I spoke to the captain and he informed me that there is also no seat in the business class. All the same, we still have one seat in the first class." Before the woman could say anything, the hostess continued, "It is not usual for our company to permit someone from the economy class to sit in the first class. However, given the circumstances, the captain feels that it would be scandalous to make someone sit next to someone so disgusting." The hostess turned to the mexican man and said "Therefore, Sir, if you would like to, please collect your luggage, a seat awaits you in first class." At that moment, the other passengers who were shocked by what they had just witnessed stood up and applauded. [..take that bitch!] :D

A PRAYER FOR WORLD PEACE ~By Dr.Jane Godall

by Edd Rock on October 16, 2008

We pray to the great Spiritual Power in which
we live and move and have our being.
We pray that we may at all times
keep our minds open to new ideas and shun dogma;
that we may grow in our understanding of the nature of all living beings
and our connectedness with the natural world;
that we may become ever more filled with
generosity of spirit and true compassion and love for all life;
that we may strive to heal the hurts that we have inflicted on nature
and control our greed for material things, knowing that
our actions are harming our natural world and the future of our children;
that we may value each and every human being
for who he is, for who she is,
reaching to the spirit that is within,
knowing the power of each individual to change the world. We pray for social justice,
for the alleviation of the crippling poverty
that condemns millions of people around the world
to lives of misery - hungry, sick, and utterly without hope.
We pray for the children who are starving,
who are condemned to homelessness, slave labor, and prostitution,
and especially for those forced to fight, to kill and torture
even members of their own family.
We pray for the victims of violence and war,
for those wounded in body and for those wounded in mind.
We pray for the multitudes of refugees, forced from their homes to alien places
through war or through the utter destruction of their environment. We pray for suffering animals everywhere,
for an end to the pain caused by scientific experimentation,
intensive farming, fur farming, shooting, trapping,
training for entertainment, abusive pet owners,
and all other forms of exploitation
such as overloading and overworking pack animals,
bull fighting, badger baiting, dog and cock fighting and so many more. We pray for an end to cruelty,
whether to humans or other animals,
for an end to bullying, and torture in all its forms.
We pray that we may learn the peace that comes with forgiving
and the strength we gain in loving;
that we may learn to take nothing for granted in this life;
that we may learn to see and understand with our hearts;
that we may learn to rejoice in our being. We pray for these things with humility;
We pray because of the hope that is within us,
and because of a faith in the ultimate triumph of the human spirit;
We pray because of our love for Creation, and because of our trust in God.
We pray, above all, for peace throughout the world.

Politicians

by Edd Rock on September 21, 2008

A busload of politicians were driving down a country road when, all of a sudden, the bus ran off the road and crashed into a tree in an old farmer's field.

The old farmer,after seeing what happened,went and investigate. He then proceeded to dig a hole and bury the politicians. A few days later,the local sheriff came out,saw the crashed bus and asked the old farmer where all the politicians had gone. The old farmer said he had buried them.

The sheriff asked the old farmer,"Were they all dead? "The old farmer replied "Well, some of them said they weren't, But you know how them politicians lie."

I Am a Guitar

by Edd Rock on September 21, 2008

I Can Sing, But I Have No Voice
I Can Play, But I Have No Appendages
I Can Move Many To Tears, But Have No Compassion
I'm Pressed And Bent , And I Move Ever So Slightly,
Tied To A Strap From Where I Forever Hang.
It's Funny How Life Is Just Like An Instrument
You Play, But You're Always Played.
