'My life is going by at an insane speed - as lives tend to do. I've been here just long enough to have almost forgotten where it is I really came from, or maybe it's that I've been here long enough to have learned how to let go of "that" constant longing for where I came from. I've started to love people I once disliked or even thought I hated, and I have stopped loving some that I thought I could never be free of. All that said, there is still a long way to go and I am just so grateful to be here'

"Sooner or later we all discover that the important moments in life are not the advertised ones, not the birthdays, the graduations, the weddings, not the great goals achieved. The real milestones are less prepossessing. They come to the door of memory." -Susan B. Anthony
“Man is always more than he can know of himself; consequently, his accomplishments, time and again, will come as a surprise to him.”
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
I have been buried in my research. Busy is a condition that I do not enjoy until I have looked back on it with the result in hand.
I hope you and Ben are well.

“Silence is the universal refuge, the sequel to all dull discourses and all foolish acts, a balm to our every chagrin, as welcome after satiety as after disappointment”
~Henry David Thoreau
It is a good thing. Thank you for caring enough to ask.
Each person comes into this world with a specific destiny - he or she has something to fulfill, some message that has to be delivered, some work that has to be completed. You are not here accidentally - you are here meaningfully. There is a purpose behind you. The whole intends to do something through you.
"We spend January 1 walking through our lives, room by room, drawing up a list of work to be done, cracks to be patched. Maybe this year, to balance the list, we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives... not looking for flaws, but for potential." -Ellen Goodman
There is a need to find and sing our own song, to stretch our limbs and shake them in a dance so wild that nothing can roost there, that stirs the yearning for solitary voyage. ~ Barbara Lazear Ascher
In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit.
-Albert Schweitzer-
Thank you for keeping an eye on me. ;] ... here's the quote that got zapped (I think you'll understand): "The best way out is always through." ~Robert Frost
“Love yourself—accept yourself—forgive yourself—and be good to yourself, because without you the rest of us are without a source of many wonderful things.” ~Leo F. Buscaglia
"A song has a few rights the same as ordinary citizens... if it happens to feel like flying where humans cannot fly... to scale mountains that are not there, who shall stop it?" ~Charles Ives
It is cruel, you know, that music should be so beautiful. It has the beauty of loneliness and of pain; of strength and freedom. The beauty of disappointment and never-satisfied love. The cruel beauty of nature, and everlasting beauty of monotony-Benjamin Britten-
You should be very proud of yourself. It is quite a feat. Nothing is greater than the transcendence of purpose. “Nothing splendid was ever created in cold blood. Heat is required to forge anything. Every great accomplishment is the story of a flaming heart.” ~Arnold H. Glasgow
It’s impressive in itself how many play list you’ve made, but it’s just amazing to me how rich each one is. How you manage to know and find such a diverse array of music is awesome, humbling and uplifting. Not to mention entertaining. I’m a big fan.
Hands down one of the top playlist I'd come across here. Mighty mighty impressed with your knowledge of music and of your charming personality as well.

When nobody listens to you
Does your heart remain
With the unsettled few
That are true
Oh, the air is thin
Oh, the air is thin
For you, my love
And something
Is happening here again
Well stay where you are
Stay where you are
'Till the end
Oh, the air is thin
Oh, the air is thin
For you, for you
Oh, to let go
Of all that you know
First you will need
To be free
Oh, the air is thin
Oh, the air is thin
For you, for you
And the child
That follows you in
Keeps you awake
Pressing wet leaves
To your skin
Oh, the air is thin
Oh, the air is thin
For you, for you
My love
