and i swapped it for to shiny quarters
cause 2 is mroe than 1

then i took the quarter
and traded themwith lou
for 3 dimes i guess he dont know
that 3 is more than 2

just then came along old man bates
and just because he cant see
he gave me 4 nickeks for my 3 dimes

and i took the nickels too hiram coombs
down at the seed feed store
and the fool gave my 5 pennies for them
cause 5is more than 4

then i went and showed my dad
and he got red in the cheeks
and closed his eyes and shook his head
