Countdown to fun

Ai, ai, I'm getting all excited. September's looking to be fun month! Well, the weekend parts, anyhow.

RenFest! The kids have decided they want to go up this weekend. Buy 1 get one tickets, so that's cool, and I got a $4 off voucher for me, so if we go this weekend, it's cheaper. If we go next weekend, there's more bagpipes, though. Might go both. Depends on how much of my paycheck's gotta go to bills, ya know? I know we can go this weekend, though, so it's a definite.

Gonna suck if it's all drizzly, still. Howsoever, since I'm planning on getting myself a cape or cloak type thing this year, maybe not all so bad. Plan to get another bodice/corset, too, for the wearing at Yaoi-Con end of the month. Who knows, might even take the cloak type.

Still trying to decide, should I pack an actual suitcase - leaving room for purchased goodies - or toss a few changes into a backpack and mail any purchased goodies home? I kinda wanted to just stick with a carry-on, but maybe a suitcase is the better idea. I'll take suggestions from experienced travelers - this's my first-ever plane trip.

Eh, I've chewed off a nail again. Drat. Nerves can suck badly, ne? Excitement + nerves = spastic me.

And I missed Miyavi! He was there in MAY! *grumbles* Oh well. Prolly wouldn't fly umpteen thousand miles for a concert, anyhow. Maybe. *considers* Naw, if I would, I'd get a passport and catch him & Gackt in Japan... be easier! *considers more* Maybe I can do that for my next vacation... wonder how many pennies I'll need to save for that? Plus! I'd be able to mark something off my dreams list, which would be of the coolness. Not the concerts, the go to Japan. Concerts would be an added bonus.
