With their funky dance beats and their positively poppy sound, The Ting Tings do anything but provide empty noise to their audience. The listener feels not only Jules De Martino's beats and Katie White's strong vocals but the emotion behind them as well. The category of pop can be a frightening label because it tends to pigeon-hole musicians and repel fans of the hipster crowd. But if any music can make its listener pop, it's the Ting Tings. Currently snatching up gigs left and right in the UK, onlookers think they're newbies. But the Ting Tings' have already been around the block and, apparently, are all the better for it. The two members do everything. Jules De Martino is the drummer, and Katie White is the vocalist.
