You know what I just realized... there's a difference between someone who likes MUSIC and someone who likes beats and lyrics. A person can like a song just because they can relate to the lyrics but pay no attention to the music behind them. And a person can like a song because the beats in the background caught their attention, but they don't really pay attention to the lyrics. And a person can just like the musicality of it all, basically the whole song, the whole story. They can just FEEL it. It just came to my attention cause I was thinking about people who only listen to one kind of music, and don't want to give anything else a chance. I just think everyone needs to start LISTENING rather than looking. Your eyes can be very decietful. Just because the PEOPLE in a group don't appeal to you, doesn't mean their songs should automatically have no chance. You might find that you like something you never thought you would. Yeah, you could absolutely hate country music, but that doesn't mean if you hear a country song and you actually LIKE it, that you have to pretend you don't. Who are you trying to fool? I really don't think the people around you care that you're a gangster but like a few country songs here and there. Or if you're a punk and you listen to some hardcore rap. And if those people DO care, they're just close minded and you shouldn't be around them anyway. You can't say you're obsessed with music if you don't give every genre a chance. I'm not disagreeing with those who like one genre a little more than the next, cause I'm guilty!People should just be more adventurous with their tastes and stop sitting in the shell of only one kind of thing when there's millions of other things out there.

So you can blog on projectplaylist? I didn't know. I have nothing to say at the moment, but i'm sure i'll be back to say something at some point... Oh, i've been listening to Chiodos - Bone Pallace Ballet non-stop since a few days ago. It just plays and plays and plays. I'm not sick of it yet so it looks like I never will be. I also got turned on to Charles Bukowski and have been reading a lot of his stuff... Look him up. I plan on going out and buying a few of his books within the coming days. All thanks to Chiodos and the lead singer. Let me know what your thoughts are on Chiodos AND Charles Bukowski...
