(Slightly) extreme makeover for Playlist.com
Posted 11 November 2009, 10:35 pm by Alice
Today, we're launching a "makeover" on Playlist.com. Why? To make it easier for you to discover and enjoy music on the site. We love that many millions of you visit here every day -- and we know change can be hard -- so we hope you'll give the new site a try and then let us know what you think.
Here are some highlights:
• Faster, cleaner, better. We've streamlined and improved the look of the site to help you find and listen to your favorite playlists more quickly.
• Share using Facebook. Join Playlist using your Facebook login. If you already have a Playlist account, click on "share" next to anything and connect your Facebook account. Now, whenever you share, you can choose friends on Facebook and post or message them directly from Playlist.
• Share using Twitter. Do you tweet? Log into Playlist and click on "share" next to anything. Connect your Twitter account. Tweet your stuff.
• Fan your favorites. If you see someone on Playlist.com who shares your taste in music, fan them! View their profile and click on Fan User. This is how clever Playlist.com users find out about new stuff.
• Find and invite your friends. You can now find friends by email or send them an invitation if they're not already on Playlist. Just click on Find Friends at the top of any page. Because more friends means more music!
• Browse and discover new music. Dig through the most popular playlists on Playlist.com and past great featured playlists from celebrities, artists and of course the Playlist.com crew. Enjoy!
Please drop us a line and let us know what you think! It's important to us that we do this right, so we're standing by right now waiting to hear from you!
